Lots of deep breathing is good, Hannah. A friend of mine is a pharmacist and she lives here in Montreal but is originally from Egypt. She told me that thyroid medication is pretty non-existent in her country. Strange how we seem to have so many thyroid issues here in North America, and especially women. Take care of yourself. Hugs.
Still doesn't sway me to moving to Egypt but interesting. I wouldn't be surprised if something in the food or whatever was killing us slowly. Wouldn't be surprised one bit.
That's what the ND said. I had been hyper and now I went hypo, and they have to up my dose again. As if I need more shit on my poo poo platter! Just want to whack my entire being with a monkey wrench until I work right. The thyroid shit could explain why I crashed for hard the past couple weeks... Doesn't really help me though. Just salt.
I am hypothyroid, too, and I often wonder how much it impacts my day to day functioning. I take thyroxine daily, because if I don't it feels as if I am walking underwater with lead attached to all my limbs. Good luck with treatment.
Good luck. And hugs.
ReplyDeleteMy thyroid is underactive. Like too much of me.
Sorry about the high numbers. Can't make things easy, for sure.

DeleteI'm so sorry you've another problem to contend with...Hugs and just keep breathing...it helps.
ReplyDeleteI may be wrong but I think when the numbers are high you have low thyroid; meaning it is hypo and underactive. But don't trust me.
