Sweet, Glorious Rain!

I had to wipe my specs a lot today but I sure enjoyed the miracle water from the sky!

Snapped some random shots while I was waiting for a friend for a walk this afternoon and thought y'all would appreciate them :o) Don't have any slug or snail pics although there were quite a few parading around! My friend hates them but I enjoyed seeing all the critters hehe

Also have a picture of my Bananagrams game from this afternoon. Super fun!

I'm getting along pretty well despite some near-panics this afternoon. Might be messy (having some nonsensical anxiety and challenging thoughts) but I'm getting where I want to go and that's what counts <3

  2. I really love rain, Hannah! We were supposed to get some here in Montreal yesterday but it passed us. We really need it, too, it is going to be a very hot and humid week and I can feel the temperatures climbing. Your photos are lovely, dear friend. Thank you so much for sharing. Hugs.

  3. Great photos. Was reminded from a video someone posted how much I miss the tropical rains of my childhood. The rains here are often less intense and of shorter duration and the lightening and thunder makes falling asleep difficult. I'm glad that you enjoyed yours. Keep up the good work, Hannah...Hugs!

    1. Thanks e! Lightning and thunder would make a restful night's sleep rough but I do enjoy the noise of a hard tropical rain

  4. I am enjoying the rain just a little bit north of you. I actually had to put on a jacket and fuzzy socks. Love it! But I want the heat back soon though.

It makes me so happy to see you moving forward.

    1. I had to utilize a jacket too! Regular socks were good for me though ;o)

I hope I keep moving forward, I'm so scared to slip backward it makes the moving forward less wonderful-trying to focus on the 'now' and not slip into those fears!

    2. I finally made an appointment to see the doctor about new medication. I have been on Zoloft for several years now and it isn't working. I am on a downwards spiral. Most days I am a 5 or 6/10. I was up to an 8. I used to say I will probably be on medication for the rest of my life. Now I know I will be. And I no longer care. I just want to be not sad and depressed.

    3. I'm glad you're talking with your doctor about the medications. I know it isn't fun having to try something new and hope it works but hopefully it does and you'll be back at an 8 or higher soon! Accepting that I'd be on medication for the rest of my life was a tough thing for me too, but now all I care about is having a medication that works! Hoping for both of us, love and hugs all around :o)

  5. You are so fortunate, Hannah! Send some rain our way if you can. It is horribly hot and dry here.
